Before Bela Fleck and Tony Trischka began experimenting with jazz on the banjo, Dick Weissman was a past master. He has stretched the boundaries of the folk idiom to where no ears have gone before. His most recent recording features bluegrass icons Tim Molly O'Brien and jazz saxophonist Bob Rebholz. Truly this is music to be heard to be believed. All originals too.
