    Pros: More features on Desperado, and a feature-loaded release of El Mariachi

    Cons: Once Upon a Time in Mexico was too new to include

    Desperado has been available on DVD for quite some time but I always resisted temptation to buy it. The old release was a plain-jane version with no extra features. I got burned by 'Pulp Fiction' back when I was new to the world of DVD. I fig...ure that if there are no extra features on a DVD, then the videotape I already own is good enough.The El Mariachi/Desperado twin pack is highly recommended to those who cannot wait for the undoubtedly planned Mariachi Trilogy set. It contains the new release of Desperado with quality extras and a commentary track by Director/Creator Robert Rodriquez that is quite interesting. The twin pack also includes a Special Edition of El Mariachi also with quality extras and a director's commentary. It's fascinating to hear Rodriquez's comments on making a (superb) movie for only $7000! Both disc's have the same preview for 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' but to their credit, it's a little more than just the trailer. The preview contains scenes from the movie as well as production video and actor interviews.Top this all off with smartly designed box to hold the DVDs and I call it one of the most satisfying 20 bucks I've ever spent at Best Buy!     Before/After watching this I implore you to reach back to Robert Rodriguez's first film, "El Mariachi" and see the best $7000 masterpiece you'll ever see!     Cons: Not beeing killed!

    It was a great movie for it's time! but not 2,3 years after because the seens looked stupid after that! by the way why is antonia bandrass bulletproof? the other thing is in my opinion "Once up on a time in Mexico" kind of ruined the st...ory! Read more Less

    Pros: the entire feature film

    Cons: nothing....except it ended

    This was my first exposure to Antonio and that Spaniard is so sensual.....ouch! Love the action and the soundtrack was so good that I got that before I purchased the movie. I had it on VHS before some low life stole it from me , but I guess it was re...placed with something better....a DVD!
