Synopsis: Descendant (2002)

Ethan Poe (Jeremy London), a young writer and descendent of Edgar Allan Poe, is trying to meet the deadline for his next book. After moving to a small town to help him along with his writing, he meets and falls for Anne (Katherine Heigl). But when female murder victims start showing up all over town with Poe-related clues all over them, Ethan becomes the prime suspect....
