Pros: Full of Creativity, Energy, and filled with sarscastic attacks on hypocracy
Cons: Some weak moments, tough to comprehend
This book of 100 1-2 page essays has to be read to be believed. It is filled with hyper-fast one-shot narratives which reflect so much of both American and British society's humor, insanity, and vagarities, but also contains so many highly inspired moments of creative writing that it does a wonderful job of tempering the author's sometimes seething anger. Not for the squeamish or easily offended, it is one of the most combustible American books written this century. Any fan of Bill Hicks or George Carlin needs to try this out.
