The new Dell W4200HD 42" Plasma HDTV delivers spectacular High Definition picture quality with the bright vivid images and superb contrast that can only be found with plasma TVs. The W4200HD is multimedia-optimized with a wide aspect display providing 1024 vertical lines and 768 horizontal lines of resolution to provide an extraordinary High Definition TV viewing experience. An expansive 42" (diagonal) display provides 36.7" x 20.9" of viewable area, but in a thin TV which is less than 10" deep on its stand - and an unbelievable 3.3" when the stand is removed to prepare the system for wall-mounting.

The wide aspect ratio screen is ideal for TV, DVD and video applications, or gaming. When combined with the various Picture-in-Picture features, the W4200HD makes it easier for users to multi-task by simultaneously viewing multiple video inputs. The W4200HD can also accept PC inputs for users seeking the ultimate in multimedia.

The remote control enables users to easily choose whether to use the display as a television or monitor and access its many features.

New to the Dell TV lineup is SRS TruSurround XT audio coupled to the integrated - but detachable - two way speakers. With 40 watts of audio power, the W4200HD delivers a listening experience as impressive as its viewing experience.

    Pros: 2 tuners, many inputs, great price

    Cons: heavy

    Using for 2 months now. Really like the TV. Awsome picture and great sound. Can't beat it for the price - paid $3K with free shipping. Haven't used all the features yet & haven't even set up PIP yet. Like the way it searches for inputs wh...en I switch from TV to DVD. Have not had to use customer support yet, but I have a Dell desktop and laptop & have always been extremely pleased with their support response. Read more Less

    HAD THE PLASMA SINCE DEC '05 & BEEN ENJOYING WATCHING DVD'S ON MY SONY DVD PLAYER WITH HDMI CONNECTION.PICTURE IS SO AMAZING YOU CAN SEE THE DETAILS ON THE FACE OF THE ACTORS.TXT SURROUND SOUND IS GOOD YOU JUST HAVE TO UP YOUR VOLUME TO 50&UP....GOT MINE FROM DELL WITH FREE SHIPPING FOR LESS THAN 3K.DESIGN IS AWESOME TOO ITS AN ADDED ATTRACTION IN YOUR LIVING ROOM.ITS A GOOD BARGAIN!
