Dell XPS M1530 Laptop Computer

Decent for anything but gaming

Pros: Keyboard is comfortable, screen is nice

Cons: Horrid hardware, constant problems

Bought two of these over a year ago when my wife and I were moving into a smaller home and didn't have space for our desktops.

We game and so we looked at these, everything on paper seemed fine, but in use they were horrid.

In the year of ownership, we have had these problems between both laptops:

Hard drive failure
Random restarts
Blue screens
4 burnt motherboards
3 fans that failed
3 failed heatsinks
2 bad ac adapters
Multiple keys broken on the keyboard
CPU temperatures of 100C+ during graphic games

We bought external cooling pads after the first set of heat related problems but even then they couldn't stop these things from getting to the point of boiling.

If you want a laptop to just play around on or surf the web, go for it. If you want it for anything with graphics, stay away.

Cons: alot

not worth it, the cords break. the plastic breaks, the battery will burn you it gets so hot, so slow. not worth the money
