Cons: Battery
The Dell 1505 is a good buy for the price. The gloss screen is amazingly vivid. It came with Windows Vista on us, which I am not a big fan of, I wasn't given a choice. So far, it is o.k., I would recommend it to anyone for a solid laptop. We sat out on our deck one night and watched a DVD with no problems. ...

Pros: Keyboard, mouse touchpad/ buttons, beautiful screen, fast, good graphics
Cons: battery life is not superb, pretty hot, occasional run time errors
I personally love this computer. The keyboard is very responsive and feels closer to a desktop keyboard than a laptop keyboard. The touch pad is set deep enough so that you know when you are on the touch pad and not the area around it, plus the buttons are big so that your fingers can easily hit them. The scroll zones on the touch pad never get in the way and are extremely handy. The screen on mine has 1680X1050 resolution and looks extremely beautiful. I have not once thought, "Why is this thing not working" or "come on LOAD!". I have never had that on any other computer. The only thing that I have thought about this computer is that it is hot and man that battery depleted fast. Though I might just have high expectations because it did last 3 and a half hours with the screen on full brightness and the wireless on. I have had a problem once and a while where the computer starts with some settings changed and wireless not working and some programs not working correctly. restarting fixes the problems and overall I do not really care about that because the fact is that I love this computer. ...
