    Pros: 15" LCD is crystal clear

    Cons: Heavy, cheap feeling, lousy touchpad

    I purchased the 1150 after being very happy with my Dell 4600 desktop and can't believe these 2 are made by the same company.I opted for the 15" screen, larger battery and cdrw/dvd options and they are about the only things I find useful.Whi...le Dell may consider this their "value" lined notebook..it's what I would call CHEAP.The touchpad is horrible and responds only 75% of the time and adding a ps2 mouse is impossible as there isn't even a port for one.It's also a heavy beast and SLOW..I'm glad I still have my Gateway Solo 5100. It's older, costs less and a better machine. Read more Less

    Pros: Stable, crispy LCD display

    Cons: slow

    It's a very stable laptop. If you are looking for a reliable one, this one is a candidate. It never crashed, unwanted rebooted, or screen froze. The LCD is very bright and clear. The customer service is ok, but you'd be patient for the long w...aiting minutes. The things bothered me are its slow performance and without 1394 port. You need to upgrade to 512M ram for better performance. Read more Less
