    Just terrible

    Pros: ran good while it lasted

    Cons: Motherboard issues all around

    This was a good little notebook while it lasted. But, I tried to turn it on one day and BOOM! It wouldn't work. Restarting was problematic. Only after the warranty was gone did everything start breaking down. The motherboard is toast. I fixed the... DVD player, then the AC adapter went out. The motherboard can only be bought through Dell, of course, SO, it costs another $500 to get that done. Just spend the money and get a quality notebook. Read more Less

    Pros: great memory, great processor, great everything

    Cons: little bit on the large and heavy side(not too much though), battery only last about 2 hours

    I LOVE this computer!! It is super fast and I use it for school almost everyday. It is a great computer for gaming, work, and basically anything else! I recommend it to anyone! It is awesome!

    So how does the Inspiron 1150 compare to the $949 or $999 HP or Toshiba notebooks at your local CompUSA or Best Buy? The latter often come with 15.0-inch screens (and occasionally wide-aspect-ratio screens) standard, but tend to pack anemic Celeron rather than Pentium 4 processors, weigh 8 or 8.5 instead of 7 pounds, and often lack onboard WiFi. So the Dell, if not technologically thrilling, is an able economy-class traveler. After visiting Dell's Web site, however, we can say it's a better value on some days than on others. Read more
