Bad, bad computer
Pros: A good money waster
Cons: Freezes most of the time, bad Video card, No DVD drive, bad support
This is the worst computer I have worked with, its even worse than my school's computer!. The price is cheap, but there's many Lag and bugs here and there. The main problem of this computer, however, is that it freezes every 5 minutes, and sometimes it causes huge lag. The components also suck; without a sizable hard drive, low memory, poor graphics card, mediocre processor, and NO DVD-ROM, you can barely do anything on this machine, not to talk about playing games. My best suggestion is that you go buy one of the many computers out there that has a way better quality than this one but for the same price.

I had a emachine for four years and liked it. But felt I should get new more powerful model. Heard a lot on Dell so I made the big mistake of buying one. Not a day goes by that it doesn't freeze up--even on the simplest applications. Over & over again. Try calling their support lines and you get some nerd in India that barely speaks english, and spend 45 minutes trying to get problem solved. What a joke that is.
It is NOT my service provider, for everything is exactly as before, and my e-machine froze up once in the four years I owned it. I feel I have thrown my money away on this piece of junk, and after 6 months of pure problems, am in process of replacing with something worthwhile.Was this review helpful? Yes - Nogreat computer

A great computer with nice power and plenty of hd space. ItÂ’s a quality product with good technical support. The only problem is the price, at a 1000 bucks or more it can really hurt your wallet. I have the Dimension 8300 I'v never had any problems and with high speed it flies.I custom order it the way I wanted and it's great.Dell is great.The comany backs it computers 100%.If anyone has a problem with there Dell just let Dell know about it.If you installed some software it might not get along with the system. Don't just cut down the PC maker,before you know what caused the problem in the first place

Cons: There is no spell check in the basic system... microsoft you are wrong for this

When I am frustrated with a computer problem and wait a few minutes on hold the last thing I want is to talk to a foreign person that I can barely understand. Spend the extra buck hire americans!!!!!!!!!!
