Pros: Everything.

Cons: Might make you wary of the internet for awhile!

This movie is by far one of my favorites when dealing with the totally over done "serial killer in a chatroom" story lines. Dee Snider plays his role perfectly, with the potential of causing nightmares for a few nights. The casting is excellent and the story believable. If nothing else, watch it to remind yourself of who you MIGHT really be talking to.

The one and only Ex-Twisted Sister's Dee Snider,could have been the only one to come up w/ this!!I love this movie!

Dee Snider really expressed himself in this film!He says the scariest part of this movie is him dressing up in the cardigan in the library scene (of course when he was "sane")
But people!Chat rooms have always been the same!....Either way you should still be carefull!!

This is definitely not a typical horror flick. but to be scared to go into a chat room is just pathetic. You gotta remember it's just actors. Be scared during the movie all you want but for a movie to keep u scared is just sad. Why don't you go check your closets to see if he's hiding there? Anyways about the movie, it's not really an original idea but i dont recall it being done before on the screen. dee snider just took internet stalking to another level and put it on film.

This is the scariest horror movie that I have ever seen. I still don't go into chat rooms because of it. Dee Snider wrote a excellent script and plays the part of Captain Howdy flawlessly. He deserved an Oscar for his role. The make-up and special effects are good for a low budget movie, but not sice Texas Chainsaw Massacre has a movie left a scar on it's victims, sorry, I mean viewers.

Horror movies never really bothered me before. This movie completly disturbed me. Half way thru the movie I wanted to shut it off, but couldn't do it I needed to watch what outlandish things Capt. Howdy would do next. This is one of the BEST horror films i've ever seen. I can honestly say I haven't been the same since I've seen it.

it ranks up with blair witch for low budget thriller of the year.it's even better if you didn't like the blair witch camera work.strangeland is very twisted,not for the weak minded.
