Deathstalker II (1987)

revels in it's own stupidity

Deathstalker 2 is much different from the first. the plot is easy to follow, but there are so many holes in it that you have to think a littlt. I think it is the best Deathstalker film, because this movie knows it's a joke, and uses it for comedy. T...rue the acting is about as low as it can get, even though I think that John Terlesky is better as the title character than the origional Rick Hill. It costars Monique Gabrielle, as the princess, and a slave, and John LaZar as the evil sorcerer. It is a medivel tale, so I don't know how they can explain Deathstalker's jeans (I think they're jeans)? If you can get past the acting, the action will make up for it. the fight with Deathstalker and Sultana is fun to watch, and the end swordfight could even be classified as suspenseful. Read more Less
