This is one of the best movies ever.The music of Neil Young and the black and white helps to create a special atmosphere that makes it no ordinary western.The plot isn't complicated at all, but in it's sobreness it creates lots of space for meditati...on and creates very honest emotions from cruel till tender.This movie shows us an unique way to deal with dead. It's a basic existentialistic movie. i thought Johny Dep was an ordinary cheap Hollywood commercial actor, but after i saw this not so easy movie i had to admit Johny is a good actor. warning: this is an intellectual metaphysical western not for rednecks and bonanza cowboys. superficial people who can't think for themselves and only watch independance daylike movies or appreciate Johny only for his role in Nightmare on Elmstreet or for his nice smile will never understand the deepness of this jewel in the moviehistory.
