Synopsis: Dead Man Walking (1995)
Synopis: This acclaimed film traces the relationship between a death-row inmate and the local nun to whom he turns for spiritual guidance in the days leading up to his scheduled execution. Matthew Poncelet (Sean Penn) has been convicted of the rape and murder of two young lovers and is awaiting execution. Susan Sarandon plays Sister Helen Prejean, a nun who has devoted herself to God and to helping the less fortunate. Prejean faces a moral crisis as she tries to reconcile her anti-death penalty views with the truth of Poncelet's actions and the pain felt by the victim's families.Features: Dead Man Walking (1995)

I think this film deserves a good review

Nate - See all Nate's reviews 2 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this Dead Man Walking review helpful First off...this is one of the top most powerful films to date. The story is very dimensional and does not show favor to either side of the story. Perhaps this is the best approach for something still controversial. Sarandon and Penn give performances well worth awards, but both were cheated. They really brought this film to the dizzying height that it reaches and the rollercoaster emotion of a ride at the end still makes you cry. (yes I am a male and I cry ...so what I am human! Emotions come with my model) -nate ... -
