    I AM ABOUT TO START THE PROCESS OF PLANNING MY WEDDING FOR FEBRUARY OF 2003 AND I HEARD THIS SONG AND ABSOLUTLY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. THE LYRICS RING SO TRUE TO MY SELF AND SOON TO BE HUSBAND.     Smooth soulfull album, the best song being the ballad 'spend my life with you.'A must for any rnb/soul fan who knows what they are taking about!

    It is rare that I find an album where I can listen to the whole thing without skipping a track...this is one of those rare albums. I loved every single cut. Keep up the good work Eric!!! I'll be looking for your next project!!

    i don't like this one as much as i liked his first one. his first one "true to myself" was just that, true to himself, even though there were a couple songs i didn't really dig. but this one has some songs he could've left off. "ghetto girl" for one.... "loving your best friend" for two. and then i'm not thrilled with the "dust in the wind" song. i thought a couple of these songs were out of character for him (at least the character we thought we knew from the first album).... not a full price buy to me (his first one is). get through col. house/bmg or used, because there are certainly at least 7 or 8 good songs on it.     I love thee eclectic rhytme of eric benet. His lyrics are deep. His beat is like a misty morning day. I enjoy the entire CD, eventhough i was only looking for one song. All in all it was worth it.

    Eric outdid Toto with his remake of "Georgy Porgy," and Kansas with "Dust in the Wind." This cd has been out for just over a year, but I still recommend that people add this one to their collection if they haven't already. I could not pick a favorit...e track on this cd because ALL of the song are most excellent. He is so jazzy. Read more Less
