    If you play, you'll love every note...

    ...and if you don't play, you might be inspired to start.I'm new to the mandolin. People in my Oldtime jam groups said Butch Baldissari one of the greatest mandolin players and perhaps the best to learn tremolo from.This album is gold. I'...ve learned two of Butch's arrangements from this album this week: Morgan Magan and Azalea Waltz. My playing skill made a quantum leap after listening to this album almost constantly for the past several weeks.It's not only his tremelo, but, in the fast pieces it is much more clear what he is playing. As one fellow mandolin player put it: "A lot of people play fast, but nobody plays as clean as Butch, fast or slow." Read more Less
