a day without rain was enya first album I bought and i love her music,and voice its great. he amaratine album is great. I wish i could see more of her music videos .

Enya sings right from heaven, calming and soothing, but also touching, more than ever. If you are familiar with Enya's previous albums, you will fall in love with "A Day without Rain" immediately, right from the opening theme song. Most listeners will recognize "Only Time", probably Enya's best-known song. If you are new to the world of Enya, you will like her peaceful style, rich with voice harmonies sung by herself alone, ethereal melodies, and an accompaniment consisting of synthesized textures and string orchestra. If you want to let yourself relax, simply put on this CD and drift away. This album is awesome and is definately worth the money if you like soft,relaxing music. It's a work of art. You can listen to the album and drift away to a very peaceful frame of mind.

I didn't really know much about this artist before, and decided to buy one CD making new buyings. I've heard some tracks of Enya before, but not too much yet.
The best song was in the movie The Cemetery of home pets (animals?:-), you know that famous track , sure (Bard Dance. GREAT music!
This CD was the first of Enya here....I bought two ones later too.

Great music. This particular album has more of a calm feel to it, although a couple of the songs have more of a content-calm feel to them (Floras Secret and Wild Child). Her music is unique in that its instruments don't include a guitar, yet still has a modern feel to it. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys music that isn't adrenaline-rushing, is great to wind-down from your day or stress, and takes you to other places.

I have all of Enya's CD's and love each one of them. A Day Without Rain, I have learned all the words to most of the songs, except for the ones sung in Gaelic. Enya is a gifted musician and vocalist that definitely has vocal chords touched by God. When my day has been truly hectic, just turning on this CD, and listening to it as my wife and I go to bed, we truly wake up rested. The song "Only Time", which was dedicated to Sept. 11, not only touches the heart, it also touches the spirit. Everytime I hear this song, I shed a tear for those that lost a loved one in NY, Washington D.C. and in Pennsylvania. Yet, I know that "Only Time" will reunite us. Thank you Enya, you truly are a blessing.

I was never a fan of Enya, untill I saw that my sister had the album A DAY WITHOUT RAIN. I sat down and listened to it and I LOVED it.

Enya is simply Angelic. I was turned on to Enya's music about 6-7 yrs ago and absolutely fell in love with it. After 5 long yrs of waiting for another release, Enya comes out with another masterpiece. Although it is rather short, it doesn't lack in quality. I am of Irish Blood myself and the soothing sounds of her music get my blood flowing and my soul begins to dance. Tears begin flow not because I am sad but I am happy, to have had my soul touched through music as deep as Enya has been able to do. Only Time is my favorite song from this album and I hope it's only a short time before another Angelic collection of songs comes out from the Godess of Music, ENYA!!

Ive been listening to Enya ever since I heard Orinaco Flow on the orignial Pure Moods CD. This CD is true to the artistry of Enya. Die Hard Enya fans and even new fans will enjoy this album...true Enya all the way
