    "David Byrne" is the closest match to "traditional" music that David Byrne has produced. There is less international flare on this album and less musicians. However, there is a lot of Byrne. Many songs have low key musical themes and emphasize Byrne'...s lyrics (see A Long Time Ago, Self Made Man, My Love is You, Buck Naked). Other songs have driving rock guitar and bass guitar themes (see Angels, Crash, an Lillies of the Valley). All of the songs have Byrne's sense of style and grace. This is the best David Byrne album to date. Read more Less
