A TEACHING TOOL!
I use Daughters of the Dusk as a teaching tool in the classroom. It is not a "Hollywood" tainted film. I hope Julie Dash continues to deliver such provocative and intellectually entertaining films about PEOPLE.

The main characters in this film is my
kin people: desendents of Sapelo Island.
Buliali Mohammet is my 5 time great grand-father. I really think this is a
great movie.I have already purchased the book Daughters Of The Dust.I have
also put in an order for the book on the making of the movie.Please keep in touch with up dates on any other books or movies simular to this one.
