    Story was good. A different take on the tooth fairy fable. The screenplay was fair. A little shallow at times. The acting was quite good considering that the screenplay was lacking. I enjoyed the movie despite its shortcomings in sound and picture......which were about average. I would recommend this film to those who like dark horror. Read more Less

    Good terror movie! Darkness Falls is a lot like The Ring if not better! I dont want to ruin the movies but the 1st 10 minutes is awesome....be prepared! If you like suspenseful/horror movies then you love DARKNESS FALLS! Lost of good scares/jump scen...ces. If you like HORROR/SLASHER movies you may or may not like this.     Great scary movie. I went and saw it in the theaters. Very awesome. Everyone was screaming. Not me, though, because I never scream in scary movies. Though, I had goosebumps and my heart was pounding. The whole setting of the movie is great. Everyone ...is running from an evil entity that is terrorizing the town of Darkness Falls from a curse that was placed upon it years earlier. The setting in dark and spooky, and the ghost just pops out everywhere where you least expect. The only reason the movie is non-approximately and hour and seventeen minutes or so, is because the whole movie is nothing but horror. From the very beginning to the end. Unlike most horrors, which the other half hour or so leaves you bored, this one has thrills and blood spills through the whole damn thing. Plus, the DVD came out a little earlier at Wal-Mart than the ones on the internet will, so I bought it last nice. Awesome extras. RULES ON HOW TO WATCH DARKNESS FALLS:1.Make sure it is nighttime.2.Send the little ones to bed. (12 and under.)3.Pop some popcorn.4.Get a soda or something else to drink.5.Stick the DVD or VHS into your machine.6.Turn off all the lights.7.Make sure you are comfortably placed somewhere.8.Start movie.9.Get scared to DEATH.WARNING!     Its a shame... truly a shame.

    Started out like a good movie, then you realize its another one aimed at these teens who nowadays lack the skill to watch a thinking movie, and go to the theatres because the commercial fooled them. These studios and their total predictability nowada...ys to make a quick buck. It's a shame really, it could have been a good movie. There's the famous 'how did he get there' and the famous finale of 'the thing blew up' effects and everyone hugs. Thank god for DVD's, the movies are such a waste of money. Read more Less

    Who's afraid of the tooth fairy?

    What happens when you leave your tooth under the pillow. You may end up wetting the bed if you see the tooth fairy. Great twist to the fable where sometimes legends from history can be scary.
