Daniel Bacheler was a Renaissance composer and lute player. The majority of music referenced to him include fantasias, pavans, courantes and preludes for the lute. Bacheler's extant works are few in number, grounded in English methods, and reflect a concern for vertical harmonies. The most popular work attributed to Bacheler was "To plead my faith."
