    I am really impressed with Beyonce's skills but am slightly dissapointed with the overrall album. I was expecting a little more. From hearing "Crazy In Love"--I expected a lot of different things. But her voice sounds beautiful and she ...is doin her thing."Crazy In Love"-the standout track ont the album, maybe not the best but the best produced. Catchy, sexy, and excitingly different."Naughty Girl"-It's an ok song. I don't like the tone in her voice throughout the song, however."Baby Boy"-Sean Paul brought the flavor to this track. I like it. It's hot and very unique."Hip Hop Star"-not feelin' this song at all."Be With You"-this song is really sexy. One of my faves. "Me, Myself, & I"-probably my favorite song on the album. I can totally relate and if you just listen to the song, it's so good. I like the melody."Yes"-no

    I feel almost ashamed to write this comment. I like this album. It shows Beyonce' put much though, heart, and love to her debut. I have never been a fan of Destiny's Child or the whole Beyonce' phenom. But I really have to give credit ...where it is due this album is as solid as they come. I will actually recommend this to my friends. Once the rag me about it, I know they will check it out and buy it as well. Good work Luv!!! Read more Less

    Beyonce killed it on this cd, she's better off by herself then in destiny's child. Her voice really shined on this cd. Her performance at the BET awards was also great, only to have Ashanti bite off her style and performance, get real ashanti... and get some talent and also learn how to sing, she definantly needs to pick up Beyonce's album.lol Read more Less

    Beyonce is one talented woman! You really need to buy this album if you respect a woman with class, sexiness, and talent!With the exception of 3 songs I don't like, out of opinion, every song on this album is terrific. Beyonce shows off her imp...ressive vocal range with songs like "Naughty Girl", in which she sings soprano entirely, and others like "Be With You" and "Me Myself and I", in which she sings with her regular voice. The title track (for good reason!) is the best one. She really shows her vocal range, from really high to low, and her transition from high to low is great in "Dangerously In Love 2". Definetely check that song out!Her writing skills have not gone tarnished since Destiny's Child went on hiatus, either. With empowering songs like "Me Myself and I" and "Yes" to plain old love songs like "Be With You" and "The Closer I Get To You" (with Luther Vandross!) to "naughty" love songs like "Naughty Girl" and "Crazy In Love", Beyonce shows she doesn't just have a range in singing! She even dedicates a song to her daddy!So go check this album out! This is one of those albums you won't want to miss out on! Read more Less

    beyonce stole the spotlight from everyone on her solo debut album. The lyrics and the way she sings makes the album very good to listen to. Like tracks as baby boy feat. sean paul, me,myself,and I, signs feat. missy elliot, speechless, and closer I g...et to you feat. luther vandross.     I must say she is definetly doing her thing with the voice. This is one of those CDs that you can just put in the CD player and let it play. I mean EVERY song has something all other albums do not. For example, Naughty Girl and Hip Hop Star...just ...bangin!!! I had to make myself listen to Hip Hop Star because the beat and style was nothing like you hear coming from most artist. I ran and got the CD as soon as I got paid because I know if Beyonce has anything to do with something its gonna be something that no one has and its going to well worth it. To all the people that's hatin on her cover...get a life because this woman is Grown and holdin her own. Her CD is wayyy better than Ashanti's (even though Ashanti is #1 for the second time this week). I feel sorry for everyone who went and bought that (including myself). Beyonce...do the damn thang!     The cd is really showing you that the girl can do her thing...like we already knew...favorite song is dangerously in love2 that song had my in tears! She writes her music in a way that you can understand
