The new DXG-305V digital camcorder is a perfect 5-in-1 companion for those on the go by combining a video camcorder, MP3 player, 3.0 Megapixel digital still camera, voice recorder, and PC camera - all in one compact design the length and width of a credit card.

The 5-in-1 functionality of the DXG-305V provides consumers with a fun and compact device that is ready to be used at a moment's notice inside or outdoors. As a digital camcorder, the 305V utilizes the latest MPEG-4 video compression technology and allows users to record special events almost anywhere and play them back on their personal computer or TV. The built-in MP3 player allows songs to be downloaded and stored on the camcorder's memory and played back using the included earphones, a perfect addition for travelers. The 305V also includes an expandable SD card slot for up to 512MB of removable storage.

As a digital camera, the DXG-305V provides 3.0 Megapixel pictures in a simple point and shoot format. The voice recorder is ideal for daily personal reminders, grocery lists and much more.     Pros: Compact, lots of features for the $$

    Cons: short battery life, limited memory, mediocre quality

    I got this for Christmas, and am still playing with it trying to learn all the features, but so far I am impressed. Although the quality of the video is mediocre, there are plenty of features, and still photo quality is what you would expect from a 3....0 megapixel camera. Memory is limited, I think it only has 28mb onboard memory, so you will need to purchase more memory. You can also use this as an MP3 player, but all music must be converted to MP3 format as this will not play .wav or .wmp files. But impressive just the same. You can also use this as a voice recorder. As I said, plenty of features and options for the money, just be sure that you purchase an SD memory card. Read more Less

    Cons: 4aaa 1 hour batt life

    the dxg 305V is an excellent starter hybrid comes in great colors 6 black, red, green, blue, camafloge pink, silver cama, and white unknown colors. has effects like saphire, classic b & W. filters negitev, blue red green yello and more. 4aaa batt...eris on a 4.8vdc-6vdc system should last 1 hour, not 3 hours. a smaller power source. mp3 feature is its best thing about the hybrid, seperate bass and treble. takes excellent video with 3 settings per resolution basic, normal and fine these are sharpness controls, at 15 fps it is perfect. the dxg 506V hybrid is the one to grab far better but same battery life 32 mb internal memory is shares for reader/writer the buffer, external sd card must bePurchased 1 gig will get you hours of record time. this Hybrid today runs as low as 66.00 as high as 150.00 the dvg 506v a ( megapixal) hybrid is offered. the software power director is well worth the purchase. a great hand me down and pocket hybrid last note at night that logo is an eye catcher wish it had a bigger screen well built metal ball bearing swival........
