Pros: Catchy songs
Cons: Nothing new
Not crowned American Idol Season, only ending up at no4 spot, but Daughtry seems to be a potential rockstar out of the top 12. More than 6 months after the finale, he has already released his debut album with his band Daughtry. The album sold more than 300 .000 copies in its first week, and has been certified Gold so far. Alternative songs in this album, especially the lead single " It's not over ", remind me of Nickelback's music. A good choice for those who love " All the right reasons ".

Daughtry is a uniquely gifted singer, who can capture the emotions of an individual. The song "Home" especially gripped my heart. Being the mom of a us airman, and a girlfriend of a US Army Sgt. in Iraq. It really meant something to me.

I play this CD in my car, on my mp3 player, on my computer at home and at work...it's THAT great! However, just a small red flag: if you find yourself in a position to see his live show, please be prepared for the material to sound very different. I went to his DC show last night and was SO disappointed to find that he was screaming most of his songs. They just didn't have the musical quality that the CD does (or that any of his Idol performances had for that matter). I couldn't even believe it (or even listen to it...I stayed only to see if it would get better. It didn't.)! The music speaks for itself in terms of quality (vocals, band, songwriting) and all was lost when Chris pushed it over the top, to what amounts, in this fan's opinion, to simply screaming. ACK...it pains me to even see this "review" in print! I was SO looking forward to the show! Hopefully, when we see him again this summer (7/07), maybe he'll have toned it down just a touch and return to what makes him great in the first place...superior quality as a recording artist AND a live performer (take us back to what we loved about you in the first place, Chris!).

It's almost perfect album.It's a long time i haven't heard any Rock Band since Meteora of Linkin Park released.The American Idol's Star has a nice voice.He and also his band bring us great feelings.
I like this album because there are 2 songs have 2 version (original n' acoustic version),They are Home and Crashed.
