    Pros: ease of use, quality of product

    Cons: filter paper required

    The grinder makes noise for, at most, 60 seconds and cleaning the grinder section takes, at most, 90 seconds. The coffee is produced hot, tastes fresh for a couple of hours at least if left in the carafe. I only wish a permanent filter were included.

    More hype than performance

    Pros: Doesn't overheat or over cook

    Cons: Cleaning coffee bean receptacle in grinder portion

    We have found that it takes more coffee to get as strong a brew than with other coffee makers (10 to 20 percent more). If you choose use the built-in grinder portion, you must clean the receptacle that holds the beans before the next use. This takes ...at least 5 minutes to do properly...as well as then drying it so that it will be dry for the next use. As a result, I buy ground coffee almost all of the time now, thereby relegating the built-in grinder to that of an unused "feature". Also, when using the grinder, the noise emitted is enough to cause neighbors to "duck and cover." Given the cost, I would not purchase this nor recommend it to anyone. Read more Less
