    Pros: No traditional Carafe; doesn't burn coffee

    Cons: Some Leaking, Cost

    have had this maker for 2 years. Bought because of the design and had been very happy with it until recently. I cook on average one pot of coffee per day. There is some leaking (water) from somewhere, but not a lot. Recently it just stopped brewing a...ltogether. I would have expected it to last a little longer considering the cost and the name.     Pros: looks

    Cons: cleaning

    Makes a good cup of coffee. Love the looks. The biggest problem is keeping the container clean. Hard to wash it. Am surprised since they have always put out a quality product.

    Pros: Good looks, good coffee

    Cons: many ways for fluids to escape

    We really liked the coffee that this machine made, but every now and again it would leak and there would be water everywhere. Also, we had several occasions where the hot coffee leaked out of the spout and made a huge mess. We can't trust it now ...and are looking for a replacement. We have had it for about 5 months.     Pros: Love the no carafe

    Cons: 12 months maximum life span

    I've purchased 3 Cuisinarts DCC-2000 in the past three years. All have started leaking and the wiring has shorted out right at twelve months. I've given up and purchased a Krups.

    Pros: Machine Life span is 1-2 years

    Cons: Its Great Machine

    I bought 2 of these machine because they both broke with 1-2years. It will shut-off and not start......the filters is hard to find. The machine dies and doesnt turn on after a year...or two...Poor Machine...

    LEAKS! Mind of its own when it wants to work

    Pros: Good tasting coffee when working

    Cons: leaking, doesn't turn on consistantly, timer works, then doesn't, can't fit a travel mug under it

    Dedicated coffee drinkers will be disapointed because no matter how good the coffee tastes, if its not ready or won't brew when you need it, what good is it? I have my old coffee maker on "stand by" at all times since purchasing this on...e. Mother and uncle have the same brand/model (we all bought them at the same time because we liked the one cup feature), and they have the same problems I do. Tried cleaning it with vinager, not filling it with a 12 cup pot (just in case the water was overflowing), unplugged multiple times and re-plugged in to "reset"...etc..
    . Don't have receipt anymore since it is now over 1 year old. Don't expect the manufacturer to stand by it, I'm on this website looking for a new machine to buy.     Read more Less

    Pros: Good looking and space saver

    Cons: Electrical problems

    This applience is very practical in the kitchen counter but it has an electrical problem that makes the product very unpredictable; it has a mind of it's own and it works when it wants.

    Pros: Great coffee, dispensing

    Cons: Longevity

    I really like the single pour feature. I have purchased two of these coffee makers both lasting less than a year. In both cases; you woke up one morning to absolutely nothing - no power, no coffee. I thought the first coffee maker may have been a lem...on, however, after having the second one do the same thing - I gave up and went back to Mr. Coffee. Read more Less

    Pros: loved it while it worked

    Cons: unit burned out after two years

    Loved it when it worked, but after two years of only using it once in the morning everyday by my husband and my self the unit would not heat any more. In todays economy a retired couple cannot afford to buy this again.

    Pros: coffee stayed fresh, BUT

    Cons: LEAKS, LEAKS, LEAKS

    I have had two of these same model coffeemakers....both of which leaked so badly i was forever cleaning up water. It leaked so badly through the very bottom in the front where the tray attaches to the coffeemaker, then the tray would overflow with wa...ter. The coffee did stay fresher longer in the upper vessel, but who wants all that mess? Very unhappy for a 100.00 coffeemaker !! I finally threw it in the trash. Read more Less
