    Best coffee maker

    Pros: Timer...very helpful...

    Cons: none

    I bought this coffee maker about a year ago, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I used to buy only Krups, but the quality of Krups coffee makers are not top quality anymore.

    Pros: Good when it works

    Cons: Doesn't last long

    I will never purchase another item under the name of Cuisinart. Over the 9 months, I went through 3 Cuisinart coffee makers. All of them just up and quit one day. One only lasted about 48 hours. Calling Cuisinart was a great waste of time. The store manager at the local Lowe's store tried to help me the best he could.

    Bargain High-end Coffee Maker

    Pros: Most of the features of the DCC-1200

    Cons: Plastic with a hint of stainless steel

    We debated between the Cuisinart, Braun, and other makers. Then it was the decision between the DCC-1100 or the 1200. We put them side by side and internally they are same, with the difference being fancy switches and stainless steel.With a $40 difference in price, and knowing that one day it won't work, the choice was simple. The small brewing feature and the signal that the brew cycle has finished are un-believable.

    eature packed and bres a nice pot of coffee too

    Pros: Brew pause when you just can't wait for the pit to finsh

    Cons: Smallish area for filling resevoir

    I'm not usually a fan of drip coffee makers but this one brews a nice full bodied potof coffee that is hot. And the coffee stays hot without getting that burned taste.
    Fully programmable, including shut off time so no more worries wondering if you turned the coffee pot off when you left for work.
    Water filter is a nice additional value
