the best film i had ever watched my entire life, all that i wanted in a film was already here and i had watched this film many times even if knew what will happen im just so bewildered on li mu bai's sword skill(very cool,very artistic,i like it) The setting of the story was perfect, the places is so stunning, so good that i would like to go to china and see those mountain bamboos whoa! never seen such veiw in my whole life, i wonder where in china is it. the concept of the story that makes it good,very true. also the real characters that brought life to the story especially ziyi, she's so talented actress, i would wish to have her autograph in caligraphy form lol. the love story was also stunning, i was so inspired by it, it is the best love story i had ever seen. i recommend it to everybody, very very nice...

I saw this movie long time ago ,to be honest ,I like it very much.I reflects on the traditional love story of Chinese. It shows us the true feeling about role in the play.I am a faithful viewer of Ms Yang. What character she played will be animatedly displayed. In addtion she also is my favourite actress in the mordern society. I very admire her real personality such as her calm, her perceverence,etc.

Reminds me of the movie Iron Monkey. People can fly, defy gravity, and jump 30 feet. I waited for about 2 hours for a good part, but it never came. I personally didn't care for it, but it was educational.

I look to be entertained by movies. This was a boring, no-plot movie that was about as amusing as watching an ant farm. If you are easily entertained then you might like it. I look for much more in a movie.

I'm not a big martial arts fan, but the Matrix blew me away. So did this. I didn't know what to expect, and I loved it. The scenery and music are absolutely wonderful. I had never seen fight scenes like that, besides the Matrix, especially with the supernatural powers mixed in. I loved the emotions this stirred in me about love and loneliness. A very moody, emotional type of movie and one of my current favorites.

CTHD is not only the best martial arts movie I've ever seen, it is the best movie I've ever seen. Some martial arts film enthusiasts may say the comedy, action, or pace of another film are better, and that is understandable, however, no one martial arts movie has put everything together at such high quality as CTHD. From the scenery, to the subtle acting, all the way to wuxia standards of fantasy kung fu, the production values are top notch. The plot was great, the characters hidden emotions swelling and growing as the film went on, pure genius from Ang Lee, Yuen Woo Ping, Chow Yun Fat, and the lovely Michelle Yeoh. Top honors to CTHD

All in all, this movie was terrible! The story line was pathetic. It was exceeddingly confusing in the beginning and TOO long. There was literally no plot. It was corny and the characters sounded and looked fake. The ending was was stupid; nothing seemed to be solved at all. Though, the special effects were ok; the rest was just bluntly pathetic. The battle scenes were were so corny. it was so corny anyone coud have started laughing at them in a serious scene becouse it was so corny.
