Good price
Pros: Great things do come in small packages
Cons: Software is difficult to use without directions
I just bought this Nano Plus 1GB and within a day I am very pleased over my purchase. First off, compare prices online (Wal-Mart vs Circuit City) before going into the store. The stores will not only match the online price but will match the lower advertised price. The software is difficult to use when you can't find a tutorial. First, I just downloaded my list of songs using the Sync on the Windows Media Player...Works fine, just remember to use shuffle folder and your songs will play at random. Secondly, I downloaded the software included in the package. Creative Media Source is the only file one will need to use for music. If you are an audio book fan, then use the Audible manager is for you. Other than that everything is extra. If someone has music and just wants a fast playlist without thought, you would use the Media Explorer. When in the Creative Media Source, you format your player, then click New Folder, name it and make your folder what you want. I have one for working out, one to relax, and one for driving. Once downloaded onto the player, you can click into the folder you want and play just that folder or play normal which is all song (no matter what folder) in alphabetical order according to artist. I set my player on the folder I choose and play random. My songs are played randomly in the folder of choice. If you choose the Windows Media option, the songs are just listed and no folder is created. With so many options...this little player packs a severe punch. One will have to upgrade to new earplugs. I personally think the supplied ear buds are loud enough but are uncomfortable for long periods of time. I love using a AAA battery. You can always buy rechargeable batteries if you want to save money. You have to be willing to play with the player to find out all the options. I read through the manual, which can be downloaded from Creative's website or downloaded from the software included. The choice is up to you. My player came with ear buds, the player, a nice rubber belt clip case, software, FM tuner, and sport arm band for $59.99. A great deal compared to the little iPod shuffler priced at $79.99. 32 preset FM tuner is fabulous for the on the go person. Also, you can set the Tuner for you various locations or just keep scanning away. Fabulous is great description. Con: Even though advertised as having mulitple color options, after a search...blue is the only color I could find. All other colors are sold out and sometimes priced higher. (Ex. Red priced at $139.99 and out of stock) Ebay has a couple of different colors but make sure to contact the seller before buying based on the picture shown. Good luck and happy music playing.
Pros: NONE
Cons: MY BROKE AFTER 2 MOS
I BOUGHT 2 OF THEM ,FIRST ONE BROKE AFTER 2 MONTHS ,2ND BROKE AFTER 3 MONTHS.IT TURNS ON AND TURNS IT SELF RIGHT OFF.70 DOLLARS IS TO MUCH FOR 2 MONTHS.
Pros: fm radio, small, cheap
Cons: could improve usablity of included software
I wanted something cheap. i wanted a radio so i could tune into the stations at the gym. this was perfect, very small, cheap, has a radio. i've had the same one for a couple years, does everything i want, takes a shock and keeps on ticking.

Pros: Uses AAA Bateries!!
Cons: Internal Batteries=Paper Weights
It does everything i expected it to do. I actually like the fact that it uses AAA batteries. No, i don't want to use my device until the battery goes dead, then plug it into the wall for x amount of hours. I don't carry around a charger or an outlet incase my player goes dead, lol. I simply carry a rechargable AAA battery from Radio Shack which is actually smaller then my player. And this player is small, : ) !! An 18 hour Internal battery life is a false hope. Try scrolling and viewing pictures often on your device for a couple of hours with an internal battery that you can never change and you will soon have a very nice looking and expensive paper weight to show all of your friends. Oh! my battery just died! (Switching Battery) Well, you can park your IPod for a couple of hours while i go for a bike ride to the beach : ) while listening to my favorite tunes. What? Your device isn't charging or holding it's charge! Send it in to the manufacturer : ( Happy trails! C ya :) !!
Pros: Small and easy to carrie
Cons: runs on AAA bateries
The Zen nano Plus is a nice mp3 but it is not the greatest. I would recomend buying one for kids but for an adult their realy not so great.
Pros: Easy to use & lightens the load
Cons: Earphones aren't one-size-fits-all
I got this for a decent price, but looks like that's gone down since I bought mine a year ago. I got it so that I could lighten my load while traveling. It has definitely done that! I can change out songs easily and it's great for working out. Fits in any pocket or in the palm of your hand. I did have to buy better earphones and I think MP3 players should just come with the kind of earbuds that fit inside the ear canal like earplugs instead of the little discs that fall out if the ears are slightly larger or smaller than the disc size. It seems like this is a waste of product to include the disc style when most people I know end up throwing them out and replacing them with regular headphones or earbuds. I scratched up my ears pretty bad trying to make these fit before I went out and paid a little extra for some Sony earbuds.
Pros: nice volume
Cons: needs batteries and headphones break
i have one and i can not go anywhere with out it. it is my life but the only thing that is wrong with it is the fact that the headphones break easily and so you might have to keep buying some. other than that i believe that you should get one it you are planning to.
