Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller Xbox

Sega's fast-paced taxicab series continues with the Xbox-exclusive release of Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller. As in the previous two installments, the basic premise is the same: pick up pedestrians and take them to their destinations as quickly as possible while avoiding oncoming traffic and other potential hazards. The setting for this version takes place in a fictional city called Glitter Oasis. Patterned after Las Vegas, the city's colorful passengers range from boxers and musicians to exotic dancers and body builders.

Four new drivers are available to choose from (Angel, Zax, Mrs. Venus, and Bixbite), along with a new lineup of offbeat mini-games to unlock various secrets. As a special bonus, the original game's West Coast and the sequel's Small Apple courses have been included as well. Both areas feature the same characters found in the Dreamcast versions, with the West Coast now supporting the crazy jump and multiple fare system introduced in Crazy Taxi 2.

To improve their chances in reaching their destinations, players can perform optional moves such as the Crazy Dash, Crazy Back Dash, Crazy Stop, Limit Cut, Crazy Hop, Crazy Hop Dash, Jump Stop, Crazy Drift, Quick Turn, Drift Hop, and Crazy Back Drift. All moves typically involve quickly shifting into a different gear and stepping on the gas. Each course can also be played using a time limit of three, five, or ten minutes, or the "normal" way of earning bonus time for each passenger delivered.
