    Bauhaus My #1 favorite

    if your not too familiar with this band Bauhaus, then this would be a great album to be your first. Has a bit of everything. I gurantee you'll like or love it. Peter Voice and Daniel Ashes weird guitar sounds. Very good!

    Excellent compilation, but if you want to get into more Bauhuas, rather buy "Swing the Heartache". A lot of the songs overlap, but "Swing" is an album so it doesnt overlap too much with the other albums. I had to choose between the 2 and chose "Crac...kle" befor I learned the "swing" is not a compilation. Now I'll have duplication when I eventually buy the rest Read more Less

    Being a child of the 90s has never been easy for me. I mean, look at MTV and you'll see the most unoriginal "musical" regurgitations we've seen in a long time, but the Bauhaus bring me a little piece of 80s goth. Peter Murphy's voice and lyrics neve...r cease to tantalize. They definitely draw some of their inspiration from the early 70s glam rockers, and they even cover "Ziggy Stardust". This album, Crackle, pretty much sums up the wonder of Bauhaus. Three thumbs up. Read more Less
