This is a great movie to watch with a girl and guys there is also a little something for you in the mix. The story takes place in a small town where one little girl had a dream to move to New York and become a songe writer. But when she get to New Yo...rk she finds out that her nice small town attude won't get her anywhere. She is just another songer writer in New York. Terrible movie. I don't even know anybody except Tyra Banks and she is a nobody now!!!! If I could rant lower than 1 i would give it a -1000 a worthless chick flick that no man batting on the right side of the plate would disagree

I think that this movie, was exteremely funny, and i thought the dance moves, were very well done. I think that Violet Stanford, (Main Character)played by Piper Perabo, could of been played by actress that was well known, or knew the business better.... Well, i could be wrong, but I enjoyed seeing Adam Garcia, again. Garcia played Kevin. He was so cute, and acted much better than Piper. Over all, I think it was ok. Read more Less

If you love to waste your time in front of the TV watching pointless drivel, this could be your salvation. I've never written a review before, but reading the positive ones made me do it -- girls are voting just for the "cute" guys. C&#...39;mon now, aren't we all a little above that? Packed with Girl power ridiculousness and plenty of scenes that are dangerously close to going into a sugar-induced diabetic comas. Seriously, not only should you not waste your money on this film, you shouldn't waste your time.
