Country Line Dance Party is a collection pieced together by Park South Records, and like much of the label's other output, is slightly misleading. While it does contain 12 songs suited for line dancing, none are by the original artists, and to the Park South label's credit, none of the tracks except "Boot Scootin' Boogie" are attributed to any performer. Oddly, "Boot Scootin' Boogie" is credited as being the version country swingers Asleep at the Wheel recorded, but this is sadly untrue making this collection unfortunately unnecessary among the slew of other line dancing collections available.
