    This is A MUST Buy!

    "Conversations" was probably one of the best Christian cd released in 2001. First of all every song said "something." Whether it was the difficulty in witnessing, or the despair of not having acknowledged God in everything, or the decisions we make t...oday will affect more than us, each song spoke some spiritual truth. Second, the music has diversity. Sara Groves doesn't just sit with her guitar and speak, but the music moves with the messages. Third, these songs stay with you. "Generations," "How Is It Between Us," "Cave of Adullum," "Hello Lord" and of course, "Conversations." This is a must buy for any fan of Christian music. Read more Less

    Don't Miss This Blessing!

    If you are not listening to Sara Groves I believe you are missing one of the best singer/communicators in Christian music today! She has an incredibly appealing voice... tremendous simplicity in her music and most important of all... genuine depth to... her lyrics. I have never heard anything like her songs before. Each is great listening with a powerful message behind it. I find myself listening to each of her CD's over and over again. This is not like me so I know there is something very different about her music. Give this Christian artist the chance and she will bless you and give you hours of enjoyment to boot! Tops!!!     In the spring of 2001, INOTOF Records released Minnesota singer and songwriter Sara Groves' project Conversations. Previously issued independently, the album is a combination of CCM, acoustic folk, and inspirational. An element of Groves' music, which can be compared to fellow CCM artist Nichole Nordeman, is the honesty and vulnerability she communicates lyrically. Songs such as "How Is It Between Us" and "Hello Lord" address the issue of distance in her relationship with God, while "Generations" examines the consequences of present actions on future events. The project also includes a live recording of the song "Tent in the Center of Town."
