Cage stars in the greatest action movie
Con air follows the story of Cameron Poe, a paroled criminal who is taking a ride back to his wife and daughter on a plane full of madmen and murderers. And yes, you guessed it, it all goes pear-shaped. Without delving too far into the storyline, I have to stress that Con Air is not in the slightest bit realistic. You see, it is a film that should not be taken seriously, but as an action-packed thrill-ride of violence, explosions and lots & lots of criminals! This is a must-see movie for any self-respecting action fan.
Everytime I watch this film it never fails to thrill me more than any film ever has done, thanks to the explosive action, the witty & clever dialogue and the fantastic storyline twists.
Unfortunately, Con Air is sadly lacking in the extras department, but with a movie as great as this, who cares?Was this review helpful? Yes - NoGreat, great, great!
Oh man...I loved this movie! I thought Nicholas' character sounded sort of cheesy and hard to take seriously with that thick accent, but, John Malkovich was divine in this movie! I was entranced by him and his character. I was actually hoping that he would live. I didn't like the gruesome and crude way they killed him off...it should've been something more clever, so it would fit his character. Also..Peter Buscemi is so great. I love him in every movie he does. Wonderful wonderful movie. Had me on the edge of my seat the WHOLE time. And, for me, the best part was when they named each convict and said what he'd done...made them look so bad ass!

Yes, yes. A good plot, some very beautiful action scenes, a great cast, but whatta hell is wrong with the bloody writer... Malkovich's role was idiotic! I couldn't stand it, how can someone do that kind of a thing to that good actor.

The movie is great on VHS. No real reason to buy the DVD. If you are looking for extra features in the DVD it is not here. Find the movie for 10 bucks its worth it. Overall it's a good movie! Come on it's got Cage in it so that alone makes it a winner.

This was a well done movie. Great plot-acting and everything. After all the jammed pack action the end is quite touching. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was the ending ending. After the plane crashed and cage chased the virus through Las Vegas it got a littly "chessy." A great movie. End was a little corny.

Con Air has non stop action from start to finish and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Nicholas Cage is great and if you like action this is the movie for you.

i think any film with "Steve buscemi" in is god and this is no ecsepion. it was even better when you find out he is a mass murder. this was also a excellent film because it was action packed so if you are a person who loves action films this is a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a great movie... it deals with a prison escape that peo (cage) gets caught in the middle of as he is parroled for killing a man in a bar fight. i would recomend the movie for any one 17 or older

Well thought out and brilliant. Jon Malkovich plays another terrific role in this action packed spectacular.
