    Pros: Great songs....

    Cons: Nothing.....

    Badfinger was one of those early 70's bands that were around a short time but left a huge mark on classic rock and music in general...discovered by all people Paul McCartney when they were known as "The Ivys"....signed to Apple Records,... one of the huge successes on Apple Records in general...Pete Ham and Tom Evans were the driving creative forces basically within the band....Mike Gibbins and Joey Molland shine as well. "Come and Get It" penned by Sir Paul was Badfingers introduction to the charts...also featured in the movie "The Magic Christian" which starred Ringo Starr...some of the best of Badfingers work is here with "No Matter what"..."Withou
    t You" covered by Harry Nillson and later Mariah Carey...but never gave the right props for Badfingers original tune..the best song here by far is "Day after Day" with beautiful slide guitar work by George Harrison (Beatles)...this was the Beatles little project...kinda like Bad Co on Led Zep's Swan Song label..."Baby Blue" is also another standout...this is an awesome greatest hits cd and everything here is top notch. Summing it up..awesome cd and awesome band...most ppl know the tragic story of this great band...Evans and Ham both are gone but not forgotton. Relive the memory...keep it alive.     I'd heard a bit of Badfinger and searched frantically for a Badfinger album, this was the album I managed to find and one listen to it i'd become and even bigger fan of Badfinger. There are many greats tracks on this album "Maybe Tomorrow", "Take It ...All", "Name Of The Game" and "Apple Of My Eye" are probably my personal favorites but their isn't a bad track on tha album including the original version of "Without You"Buy this album or search for any Badfinger albums, you will not regret it.     Great album by a band that seems to get overlooked when discussing great bands of the 70's. Also the 2nd best artists to record on the Apple label.

    badfinger rocktheir sound and songwriting are highly influenced by the beatles..and there's even a song 'come and get it" which is their classic hit that is written by paul mccartney and could be heard in that peter sellers and ringo starr movie call...ed "the magic christian"anyways this cd is cool all the way throughawesome picks here:believe me, no matter what, dear angie, baby blue, come and get it, apple of my eyeBUY IT AND FALL IN LOVE WITH BADFINGER!     This is just a teriffic CD and it's one of my favorites. Standards like "No Matter What" and "Come and Get It" are here plus great songs like "Baby Blue" and "Take it All". Such a talented band!!!
