Oleta Adams, simply put, is a gem from God. That voice is so rich and strong. Her rendition of "Beams of heaven" brings chills to my spine every time I hear it, as I long for that eternal freedom that the song speaks about.
The entire album is great, but my other favorite songs are "Holy is the Lamb" and "the Captain of my Ship".
Oleta Adams may have never gotten the kind of acclaim that many voices of her generation have, but she is truly one of the premiere singers of any generation.
I highly recommend this album ...
