    I grew up listening to Evie Tornquist's album "Come On Ring Those Bells" and it represents the real meaning of Christmas to me. We get caught up in the commercialism of Christmas and we have lost sight of the true meaning of the Holiday..., the birth of our Savior. I am downloading Christmas songs to my IPOD and I thought of Evie. I searched the web to see if I could find her music to download but judging from these postings, it's not available on CD yet. I think my parents still have the album. I will have to ask someone to record it for me to download. It's nice to see she still has a few fans and folks who appreciate her music and the message it brings. God Bless Read more Less

    Evie has one of the sweetest, warmest voices I've ever heard. I have the old, vinyl album and hope her recordings will be released on CD format. She is a beautiful and convincing witness to the Lord.

    Pros: Great messages to all for christmas

    Cons: Only on vinyl and my hubby is not sold on it

    This is a sensational christmas record which reflects the true meaning for "Christmas" for me and my family. I lost my mother at 21 but listen to this record each year to understand how greatful i am for everyday I had with her and to sing ...along with Evie to reconnect with what is so great about christmas and being alive.     I painstakingly transferred this album to CD. I started with a new unplayed album, and transformed it into a perfect CD - no pops or clicks! This album really represents what Christmas is to me.     This albumn IS Christmas to me. My grandmother gave me this albumn one Christmas after several seasons of wearing hers out. That was over 20 years ago!     Evie sings sweetly about the Savior's birth. We had this album on tape for years. The tape broke and we are in the process of trying to replace it. It is worth looking for.
