Indie rock band Colour Revolt was formed by five college students from Jackson and Oxford, MS: lead singer/guitarist/keyboard player Jesse Coppenbarger; guitarist Jimmy Cajoleas; guitarist/keyboard player/singer Sean Kirkpatrick; drummer/singer Len Clark; and bassist Drew Mellon. They initially called their group Fletcher, later changing it to Colour Revolt, a name taken from Edwin Abbott's 19th century social commentary Flatland. The band's plans to record its debut EP in a friend's basement...
