    There's a lot of really good tunes on this album, from the glorious "The World I Know", to the rockin' cuts "Where The River Flows" and "Gel", to the finely executed cuts "December", "Smashing Young Man" and "Bleed". It rocks, it glides, it's just da...mn amazing. This and DOSAGE are perhaps the best. Read more Less

    This IS Collective Soul

    This is Collective Soul's best. While it doesn't have a lot of slow ballads, it does have their best, "The World I Know". Every song on this album is worth a listen. From the quiet, then loud "Simple" to the big three: "December", the crown jewel wit...h its awesome harmonies and undenible hook, "Where the River Flows" with a bass line that makes you want to crank it up, and "Gel", which is more of the same. The "guitar" band makes the most of its genre's name in this effort, in which Ed Roland's clever and thoughful lyrics make it an intellgent rock album. Read more Less

    This is the best work from Collective Soul. This album released alot of songs like Gel, December, Smashing Young Man, World I Know, Where the River Flows, and Bleed. Wow! That's alot of songs played on the radio from one album. That is kind of like ...how Pearl Jam's Vs. and Vitalogy albums were. But you will like this album. I rank their albums:1. Collective Soul2.     I am a big collective fan and I think this is the band´s best work to date, (I havent heard "blender") it is a good mix of rocking songs like "gel", "where the river flows" & "untitled" and great ballads like "december" "the world I know" and my pe...rsonal favorite "when the water falls". this album is a most.
