    THIS MOVIE RULEZ IF YOU DON'T LIKE ARNOLD WITHOUT A GUN DONT WACTH BUT THIS IS SAD MOVIE A GUY LOST HIS FAMILY AND GOES AFTER THE GUY WHO KILLED THEM THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT A REALLL GOOD MOVIE A MUST WACTH!!!!!!!!!

    Someone said they never thought they would see a bad Arnie film...Go check out Junior!! ...or Twins!!..or Kindergarten Cop!! ALL SUUUCK!!
    Arnie is an action movie star!! And this movie delivers the goods. Not his best but certainly not his worst.

    C'mon. Its a typical Arnold Swarchzenegger film, full of explosions and a few good gun fights. Nice twists, but I should say i am a big Arnie fan so thats probably why i like. Everyone likes different things. Thats all I can say!

    This movie was a typical Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Take it any way you wish on this aspect. It's great if you like explosions and bad puns. It's not so great if you prefer a really moving plot and lots of gunplay. (ie The Matrix.)My point being, i...t's good to rent (like i did) but don't run out and buy it until you see it at Wal-Mart for $6. Read more Less

    i agree this is total trash. terrorist blows up wife and child, so now we're really mad right?! give me a break. arnold needs to retire and go back to austria..his 15 minutes were up years ago!!!

    This is by far the WORSE Arnold movie he's ever made!!!Practically no action. All he does is wander around a jungle for an hour before he eventually infiltrates the enemies hideout (something the CIA have been trying to do for 4 years, but this fire-...man does in a day).I can't remember if he even shoots a gun.Don't waste your time or money on this crap.     Finally, a bad Schwarzenegger movie...

    I never thought I'd see the day when Arnold would make such a poor movie. As a long-time fan, I had looked forward to seeing this latest film, "Collateral Damage." What a major disappointment it was! It had none of the sparkle, wit, atmosphere, dialo...g, drama and especially -- the technological inventiveness that are the hallmarks of his earlier action flicks ("Predator, True Lies, Eraser, Total Recall, Commando.")In "Damage," he sleepwalks through his part and has to work much too hard to produce that intimidating, trademark "there's going to be hell to pay" scowl. The basic premise is a weak cornerstone for the film -- which is surprisingly disappointing, given the timeliness of the events portrayed in this uninspired movie. How can the viewer possibly believe that a city fireman who knows nothing about South America, could travel to that extremely dangerous part of the world and find the Columbian terrorists responsible for his family's demise. Spend five minutes reading about the realities of life in war-torn Columbia, and you'll understand what I mean. (Not to mention, natural hazards like snakes, spiders, insects, and especially piranha.)We're not even given the trump card of an explanatory background, such as: he was an "ex-Vietnam vet," "former SEAL," or "intelligence expert." The plot fails, and fails miserably.It IS possible to age gracefully in movies, and still turn in a commanding performance. Perhaps Arnold should take a cue from actors like John Wayne ("True Grit," "The Shootist," etc.), Clint Eastwood ("Unforgiven") or Paul Newman ("Road To Perdition") who've done outstanding work in their post-physical-prime years. As much as I love Schwarzenegger, I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. Read more Less

    As a long-time fan of Arnold, it pains me to say that this is a very poor film. It has none of the charm or inventiveness of his other action films, and is saddled with a weak supporting castand a very thin, very predictable story line.
