If I could rate this at 25 stars I would.I purchased this CD because I started buying George Jones albums back in 1960. That is not a typo, 1960.If one goes to the encyclopedia and looks up "REAL' country music", the person whose image appears there... is George Jones. One will not find a no singing non-tune carrying "breathless" Faith Hill, or her whining 30 more "beers" phoney husband, both phoney in the husband and singing respect.George Jones gets more feeling and more "gravel in your gut, whiskey in your eye" feeling out of one line in a song than all the programmed and canned so called "country" singers combined do in their entire ensemble. George says more in the silence between the words than all the so-called new breed of young singers supposedly singing country music can if they yelled and imitated rock and roll all day which is what one hears on the majority of so called coutry music radio(sic)today. There has been Murder on Music Row, but this is what can be done if someone desides to record the Benchmark of country singers, male or female.Evelyn Shriver should be hugged and kissed by every "real" country music fan, I love ya Evelyn.Go get this CD, put it in and push the button marked volume to "jukebox", open your favorite drink whatever it may be and grab your favorite lady, or someone's favorite lady and listen to "Choices", classic George, and how real country music is really supposed to be. Ever wonder why one can't hear real country music except save maybe by Eddie Stubbs and crew at WSM? Because WSM knows what real coutry music lovers want---"Choices" This is the definative and benchmark CD to start measuring everyone else in the business by through this century, so far none have even got close enough to carry George's guitar pick out to the stage for him.
