Codename: Tenka PlayStation

If there was one area where the Playstation needed some assistance it is indeed first person shooters. Since the systems release there has been a few ports of past succesful PC shooters such as Doom and Hexen, but nothing unique to the Playstation. Psygnosis's Code Name: Tenka fills this void with a interesting and indeed impressive for the Playstation shooter. Weapons are divised by adding extensions onto the one weapon, enemies are gruesome and quite weird and the games control and feel is smooth. While Tenka is certainly no Goldeneye 007 or Quake 2, it certainly is one of the better first person shooters on the Playstation and worth a look. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
