Pros: Li-Ion battery, low price, MP3 support, lots of included accessories.

    Cons: Small "blocky" screen

This a good DVD player for the price. It comes with a LI-Ion battery that usually lasts through a 1.5-2.0 hour movie and about 6+ hours of CD time. The accessories package has a car charger, audio-video outputs, and a remote. This is a great travel D...VD player that will last most plane trips and can hook up to most hotel TVs. If you can find the TF-DVD520, I would recommend that over this model. The TF-DVD520 has a TFT screen that is much sharper then the TF-DVD500's LCD screen. Read more Less

    Pros: Plays MP3 DVDs & CDs / VCD / SVCD / DVD / DVD+-R / DVD+-RW

Cons: screen display is hard to read

This player honestly is actually not that bad. It's portable and works well. My only real complaint is that the display is not 720x480. It's around 480x240 and makes text hard to read on it (especially the setup menus). I've burned a SVC...D, a Video-CD, an MP3 data disc on a DVD+R (in ISO format), and a DVD+R DVD video. It doesn't say in the manual that it can play all these, but it does and the sound sync is excellent. While it may not be the best player out there, I would still recommend it as long as you know that you'll have trouble reading the menus with the MP3 data disc mode and the setup menus. I imagine that they look great when you use the A/V output, but it's meant to be a portable player so why wasn't this made to be read? Read more Less
