    cheap, easy surround sound

    Pros: good dvd player with all sound hookups.

    Cons: Tone controls are very crude.

    This is okay cheap sound for fast setup right out of the box. The included DVD player has all of the outlets for surround sound--however the amplifier (with a small 'bass' speaker built in) could not be hooked up to a computer. The p...ower is a lot less than what you would expect from the advertised rating but still adequate for a small room. The main quibble is that only crude concessions are included for balancing the sound. You feel the set needs a couple more knobs. Read more Less
