Only good for 3 months!
Pros: While it worked it was great.
Cons: Wont work after 3 months and they refuse to fix it.
DP-882 only worked for 3 months and then it quit. Coby refused to fix it even though I offered to pay for the repair so now it is garbage. NY BBB said "Consumers report to the BBB that Coby Electronics products are inferior in quality. After purchasing products from the company consumers report that their products stop working within a 3 month period.' Buyer beware.

I bought the dp772 from J&R. The first one's display lit up but didn't display anything. It went back. J&R crossshipped another and that one was fine. The resolution of the panel is 480x237 so you need to crop and resize your pics to fully ffit the display. If u choose not to resize the panel will only show about 70% of your photo. That sucks.
I found that if the panle doesn't like a jpeg, save it as a bmp and walla the panel displays it just fine.
This entire learning curve wasn't what I planned on. I think I should have purchased a 800x600 display. That way resize wouldn't be my word of the day!Was this review helpful? Yes - Nocheaper at big lots
Pros: good picture, same exact one at big lots for only 80 bucks
Cons: when i got mine for my mom it was at 75 because it was in their ad
cheaper at big lots it was only 79 dollars and same exact photo frame and it saved me some green
