A decent romp through club favorites released during the early 2000s, the first volume of the ZYX label's Club Trax series hops across several dancemusic styles (though the majority of the tracks can be loosely termed electrodisco) over a period of a couple hours, containing notable tracks like the Todd Terry remix of Playgroup's "Front 2 Back," Mylo's remix of Freeform Five's "No More Conversations," Boogie Pimps' "I've Got the Music in Me," Tocadisco's "You're No Good to Me," Tomcraft's "Da Disco," and Chic Flowerz's cover of Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman." Those turned off by the type of sleeve design on display here will be pleasantly surprised that the music contained is of a greater value.
