Clockwatchers (1998)

It's almost worth watching once

This movie seems to be a cross between an independant film and a hollywood movie. It holds the set up of an independant film with character depth but it cuts it off to fit more events into the film. Unfortunatly nothing really gets accomplished in t...he movie. An abundant number of problems are proposed throughout the film but none of them really ever get resolved. The problems just seem to fade away when a whole new problem arises. I found nothing that would make me want to watch the film again. The main characters seemed to "piss me off" more than anything else. Every character is built up and you get a general idea of their current life situations, but they are all 1 dimensional. Though the characters become friends the really don't do anything for each other. It is a constant expliantion of different stories that makes it very easy to loose intrest in any 1 character (let alone numerous ones). It's almost worth watching once, but thats it really.
