    Nice Compilation

    I'm a big Sarah Brightman fan, but I've got to say that Classics isn't as exciting as Eden, Goodbye, or Luna. Classics is a collection, not really an album. Sarah relies heavily on themes as an additional drive behind her albums, but Classics lacks... a thematic purpose. It's like her other collections- Andrew Lloyd Webber and Songs That Got Away. If you enjoyed listening to those two collections, Classics is perfect for you. If you preferred albums with the thematic edge and mythological craftings of Eden and Luna, though, you won't find that in Classics. It's a nice collection of songs that could be considered classical. Her voice is pristine and crystal clear as always, though. Read more Less

    If nothing else, buy it for the Artwork! Sara has a perfect voice and an perfect body! Poor Frank... She must drive him crazy!

    Now I have to say I've been looking forward to the release of this album. Since I loved La Luna(her last album). From the first glance of the cover and the pictures inside. I thought this was going to be a great album. It looked like maybe there w...ere going to be more pop ballads and opera mixed(Like La Luna and Eden) But there wasn't. This is an album filled with songs Sarah enjoys I think. THe only songs that really stand out on the album, are *Time To Say Goodbye* and *Ave Maria* For this ablum you have to be in the mood for it. It's best to be doing something else while listnening to it. But don't start thinking this isn't an album to have. It is! But it's not as good as her last three previous albums. But it will do. I have to say it really is a Sarah Brightman album.Go buy her other albums *Time To Say Goodbye* *Eden* The Andrew Lyod Webber Collection* or *La Luna* Read more Less

    One the Greatest Albums to Own A Maste

    this is a great piece of work, Winter light, alhambra, dans la nuit and ave maria are new masterpieces for sarah. Other rerecorded song are breathtaking as well, like pie jesu (she sang better than any other singer ever) fantastic Nusen dorma, better... than the original, and Time to say goodbye, which surprisingle is also better than the original. other highlights are found as well on this album.
