A tenor saxophonist whose recording career has included only a few sessions for Savoy in the mid-'50s, one heading a trio with trombonist Ole Hanson and pianist/drummer Chuck Lee, and the other a quintet date that included drummer Kenny Clarke. This was later issued as the album Jazz Youngblood.
